O
ur all-time favourite Thai restaurant in Brussels. We came here on an almost weekly basis. Literally around the corner for us, between the Beurs/Bourse and the Grand Place. A tiny restaurant with seating for about 14, little paper umbrellas on the ceiling and the friendliest Thai staff. Always smiling and joking, they knew our usual order by heart. Good to know: you can also order take-away and the same owners also have a good spa nearby: Luangpakdee.
We love the curry’s: the yellow, the green and the red curry are all delicious. We had a steady streams of spicy som tams as well, we haven’t found a better one in Thailand yet. For less than 25 EUR for two, including a lychee juice, tea or glass of wine on top. Beat that!
Again, if you live in Brussels take the bus or metro. If you live outside of Brussels, though luck, you will have to park in one of the big parkings as in the middle of the historical city centre there are very few kerbside spots.
If you are a little early or you decide to stay a little longer, you can always have a look at the prettiest city hall on the prettiest square anywhere in the world: the Grand Place. Or you can go shopping in the Kolenmarkt neighbourhood or buy something cool for the kids at the Grasshopper. The Dansaert neighbourhood is also nearby, if you want to read more about that great area you can click here.
