After 6 weeks in our small campervan in New Zealand, where the weather had quickly descended into a windy winter, we felt it was time to relax in warmer climes with a little bit of extra living space. So what is slightly better than a campervan in winter? A tiny island in the middle of nowhere on the other end of the world. Rarotonga in the Cook Islands. Straight into the Polynesian Pacific, perfect!
After a few months in South America and being on the road for a little more than a year, another Christmas was coming up. We really felt like a cozy Christmas break, and chose to do a holiday housesit again. We celebrated together in a city that breathes Christmas: New York!!
